The photography grip adds a thick, structured layer to the back of the phone, which blocks the electromagnetic induction required for wireless charging. The grip’s internal structure and mounting mechanism physically interfere with the alignment and signal transmission between the phone’s wireless coil and the charging pad.
To use wireless charging, you must first remove the photography grip from the phone. Once detached, place the phone directly on the wireless charger to restore normal wireless charging functionality.
