1. Home surveillance playback uses event recording, which only starts recording when a human figure, moving object, or abnormal activity is detected. Therefore, the playback will present short video clips instead of a continuous recording. If this is the case, it is normal, and you can use it with confidence.
2. If the lens is dirty or obstructed, the camera can fail to accurately detect events, which can result in missing or incomplete recordings. Please gently wipe the lens with a clean, soft cloth and make sure the camera is installed in an unobstructed location.
3. Power off the device and turn it on again. Restarting the device can clear temporary software glitches.
4. If the problem persists, consider resetting the camera to factory settings by pressing and holding the reset button for about 7 seconds until you hear a prompt.
