If your Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 Base Station fails to vacuum dust, please follow the troubleshooting steps below:
1. Check whether the suction ports of the robot vacuum and the Base Station are blocked by any foreign objects, and clean them thoroughly.
2. Inspect the dust collection channel to see if wet waste, excessive hair, or lint has been drawn in and adhered to the passage. It is recommended to clean these manually, as such debris can easily cause clogging.
3. Check whether the cleaning task is set to vacuuming or mopping. If it is in mopping mode, the Base Station will not suction dust.
4. Ensure that the robot vacuum’s dust compartment is properly installed and not blocked by excessive dust. Reinstall and clean the dust compartment before testing again.
5. Verify that the dust bag in the Base Station is correctly installed, and reinstall if necessary.
6. Check whether the dust bag in the Base Station is full, and empty it if needed.
7. Confirm whether the “Dust Collection” icon in the Xiaomi Home App is grayed out. This can happen if the robot vacuum is not properly docked in the Base Station or if there is a communication issue.
8. If the icon remains grayed out, try moving the robot vacuum, removing and reinserting it into the charging dock, restarting the robot vacuum, or power-cycling the Base Station.
If the problem persists, please contact the after-sales service center for assistance.
Note:
1. Always ensure the dust compartment and filter are properly installed before use.
2. Regularly clean the dust compartment and filter of dust and debris to maintain optimal performance.
3. After prolonged use, it is normal for the Base Station to take longer to complete dust collection, as this helps maintain smooth operation.
