If the Xiaomi Handheld Steam Iron does not generate steam, please refer to the following steps:
  1. Check whether there is water in the water tank of the steam iron;
  2. Check whether the water tank is installed properly;
  3. Confirm that the iron is set to wet ironing or steam boost mode, as dry ironing mode does not emit steam;
  4. If the iron has been used for a long time, limescale or mineral deposits can block steam outlets. Clean or descale the iron;
  5. Use the iron at a proper angle as recommended, extreme tilting can prevent steam generation;
