What to do if the automatic dust collection of the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 5 Pro fails?

If the automatic dust collection of the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 5 Pro fails, it can reduce the efficiency of debris removal and affect the overall cleaning performance. Addressing this issue promptly ensures that the robot vacuum can maintain optimal dust collection and continue to operate effectively.
If the dust collection of the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 5 Pro is not working, please refer to the following information:
  1. Make sure the omni station is powered on, and during dust collection, ensure the dust compartment cover is closed and the disposable bag is properly installed.
  2. Check whether the disposable bag is full. If full, replace it and try again.
  3. Check whether the dust collection ports on both the main unit and the omni station, as well as the dust compartment outlet, are blocked. Clean them before use.
  4. In the Xiaomi Home App, go to [Settings] >> check if [Automatic dust collection] is turned off. If it is, turn it on and try again.
  5. Check for dirt on the charging contact, if dirty, the signal can fail to transmit. Clean with a dry tissue and try again.
  6. If your home has a high amount of dust or debris, it is recommended to set the dust collection frequency to every time after cleaning.
