If the mop becomes very dirty during cleaning, the robot vacuum will attempt to wash it multiple times to ensure it is clean before continuing the next cleaning task. If the mop is extremely dirty, rinse it manually before using the robot vacuum.
If the water tank is not properly installed or the mop is incorrectly attached, the robot vacuum will repeatedly attempt to wash the mop. Check that the mop and water tank are properly installed.
Water, dust, or damage to the mop sensor can make the robot vacuum mistakenly think the mop is still dirty, causing repeated washing. Clean the mop sensor to ensure it is free of dust or water stains.
The robot vacuum can set the frequency of washing by itself. Please check the washing frequency settings in the Xiaomi Home App.
Make sure the robot vacuum firmware and the Xiaomi Home app are updated to the latest version, some mop-washing anomalies may be fixed during updates.
