Why are the photos printed by the Xiaomi Portable Photo Printer Pro very faint, as if they are not colored?

If the printed photos appear very light or colorless, the issue can be caused by how the photo paper is loaded into the Xiaomi Portable Photo Printer Pro.
To ensure proper photo printing with the printer, please follow these steps:
  1. Begin by opening the printer’s paper compartment and checking the orientation of the photo paper. The side with text printed on the back must face upward when placed in the tray. If the photo paper is loaded upside down, the printer will not transfer color correctly, resulting in pale or faint images;
  2. Also, ensure that you are using original Xiaomi photo paper and ribbon, as third-party materials can affect print quality;
  3. After confirming correct paper placement, restart the print job;
  4. If the problem persists, try reloading the paper or restarting the printer.
Note:
Reusing photo paper with the printer is not allowed as it can cause the ribbon to break.
