Why can’t I add an NFC card to the Xiaomi Watch S4 in the UK?

The Xiaomi Watch S4 supports adding bank cards for NFC contactless payments, allowing you to make quick and secure transactions directly from your watch. However, in the UK, this feature is currently compatible only with Mastercard cards issued by Curve UK Limited and UAB ZEN.com.
If you are unable to add your card, please check the following:
  1. Confirm that your card is a Mastercard issued by Curve UK Limited or UAB ZEN.com;
  2. Update your Xiaomi Watch S4 and the paired Xiaomi Home App to the latest version.
  3. Add the card again via the NFC payment settings on your watch.
  4. Make sure you are using a payment terminal that supports Mastercard contactless payments.
Note:
Cards from other banks or payment providers are not supported for NFC payments in the UK at this time. We recommend contacting Curve or ZEN.com to obtain a compatible card if you wish to use this feature.
