The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S40C does not have an automatic drying function. After completing its cleaning task and returning to the charging dock, the mop pad needs to be manually cleaned and air-dried.
If the mop pad of the robot vacuum is still wet, please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot:
1. If the environment or season is humid, the mop pad will naturally take longer to dry. It is recommended to manually clean and hang it in a well-ventilated area to avoid long-term dampness and odor;
2. Ensure that the mop pad is removed and air-dried for a sufficient period to allow proper evaporation;
3. If the mop pad is used for an extended period without cleaning, its texture can deteriorate and water absorption will decrease. It is recommended to replace the mop pad every 3-6 months;
4. Check whether the mop pad is thoroughly rinsed before drying, as excessive water retention can slow down drying.
Note:
To prevent mildew or odor, ensure the mop pad is dried in a well-ventilated environment after each use.
