If the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 10.5kg has an odor, please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot:
New machine:
1. If there is a smell of baked plastic, it is due to the smell of the door seal rubber under high temperature. This is normal and will not affect human health. As the number of high-temperature washes increases, this phenomenon will decrease. Please feel free to use it;
2. The washing machine will be inspected by adding water during production. Due to transportation and other reasons, there will be some odor, which is normal. When using a new machine, please run a program with an empty drum first;
3. If a burning smell appears after using for a period of time, please immediately turn off the power, stop using it, and contact the after-sales service center.
Old machine:
1. Please do not insert the Drain Hose of the washing machine too deeply into the sewer. Inserting it too deep will cause siphoning, backflow or odor. Please place the drain pipe next to the sewer;
2. Check whether the door seal is moldy. Every time the washing machine is used, there will be some impurities in the door seal. If it is not cleaned for a long time, it will cause mold or odor. Therefore, it is recommended to clean the door seal regularly with a towel;
3. There will be some impurities inside the drum. If it is not cleaned for a long time, it will produce odor. It is recommended to use the Tub Clean function to clean the drum once every three months. If the washing machine is used frequently, the use cycle of the drum cleaning function can be shortened.
