What to do if the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S40 cannot reach the designated area?
If the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S40 can’t reach the designated area, please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot:
1. Check the list of maps in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP. If there are similar or duplicate maps, delete them to prevent the robot vacuum from switching to the wrong map due to re-localization;
2. Please check whether there are foreign objects or hair on the rotating part of the LDS laser sensor, which causes poor rotation or stalling. If so, please try to remove it;
3. Please wipe the Line laser sensor;
4. It is recommended to check and confirm whether the main wheel is entangled with foreign objects;
5. Please try to restart the robot vacuum and try again.
