How to allow the carrier to ask location info on the Xiaomi smartphone?
The Xiaomi smartphone supports allowing the carrier to ask location information. With this feature, carriers will learn about your location via a base station, which can provide relevant information for rescue when you meet emergencies or immediate diseases. Besides, based on the location information, carriers will provide personalized services, such as weather conditions and recommended nearby shops.
To allow the carrier to ask location information on your phone, please refer to the following steps:
1. Open the [Settings] APP on your phone;
2. Swipe down to find and tap [Location];
3. Tap [Share location info with carrier];
4. Select from the options [Allow], [Ask] and [Deny].
