Why does the Xiaomi Smart Inverter Dehumidifier fail to operate properly after being turned on?
The reasons are as follows:
1. When the set humidity level is beyond the ambient humidity detected by the dehumidifier, the fan operates at a low speed, and the compressor will not engage;
2. (1). When the ambient temperature is less than 5°C or greater than 40°C, only the fan runs and the compressor does not operate;
(2). In Sleep mode, when the temperature exceeds 32°C, only the fan runs and the compressor does not operate;
(3). These two modes only function with the auto-fan feature enabled in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP after the dehumidifier has been shut down automatically; in this case, the compressor does not operate, and there is no dehumidifying effect.
3. If the water tank is not installed correctly, the dehumidifier cannot work properly.
