Why can't videos recorded by the Xiaomi Smart Camera be shared with others?

If the video sharing is successful but the recipient (the person being shared with) is unable to play the video, this can be due to network issues on the recipient side. It is recommended to switch networks or try using a different phone to resolve the problem.
If the video cannot be shared and the system shows a sharing failed message, follow these troubleshooting steps:
1. Exit the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP, clear the background APPs, and reopen the APP to try sharing again;
2. Switch networks or use a different phone;
3. Switch the server region and then switch it back, refresh, and try again;
4. Check if there are updates available for the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP or the camera’s firmware, and update both to the latest versions;
5. Uninstall and reinstall the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP, ensuring all APP permissions are granted;
6. Restore the camera to factory settings, reconnect, and attempt to share again.

Note:
To reset the Xiaomi Smart Camera, insert a pin into the reset hole or hold and press the reset button for 5-8 seconds. When you hear the camera voice prompt: “Reset complete", you can release it to complete the reset.
