How to set up L2TP on the router?
L2TP (Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol) is a VPN (Virtual Private Network) tunneling protocol used to securely transmit data over the internet. It does not provide encryption on its own but is often combined with IPSec (Internet Protocol Security) for secure communication.
To set up the L2TP on the Xiaomi Router, please refer to the following steps:
1. Open the web browser and enter miwifi.com or 192.168.31.1;
2. Select the router you want to set;
3. Click [Additional settings];
4. Click [VPN];
5. Select [Add service] and input the information. Select the protocol type as [L2TP] and click [Save];
6. Then you can enable this service.
