To filter out explicit content using Google services, you can enable and configure SafeSearch. It is a powerful content filtering feature designed to enhance safety, especially for children, by blocking explicit or inappropriate content from appearing in Google search results. It is especially helpful for you to ensure a cleaner, safer browsing experience when searching for information, images, or videos online.
To filter out explicit content using the Google service, please refer to the following steps:
1. Open the [Settings] APP;
2. Swipe down to find and select [Google];
3. Tap [All services];
4. Select [Search, Assistant &Voice];
5. Tap [Privacy & Safety];
6. Select [SafeSearch];
7. Tap [Filter] to filter out explicit images, text, and links;
8. You can also select [Blur] to blur explicit images, but explicit text and links can show;
9. You can select [Off] to show all relevant results, even if they are explicit.
Note:
1. If you cannot change your SafeSearch settings, it could be because it is being controlled by your account, device, or network administrator;
2. SafeSearch is set to Filter automatically when Google’s systems indicate you could be under 18.
