Why does the Xiaomi 15 show abnormal overexposure when taking photos?

In high-contrast lighting conditions, such as strong backlight or scenes with significant brightness differences, the HDR algorithm uses multi-frame fusion to preserve details in both bright and dark areas. However, when there is significant movement in the frame, misalignment in the fusion process can occur, leading to ghosting or excessive brightness in certain parts of the image.
To compensate for this, the system can reduce the dynamic range to improve overall image clarity and ensure better snapshot performance. This adjustment can result in overexposure in specific scenarios. We are continuously optimizing this issue through software updates to enhance image processing. Please stay updated with OTA software updates for improved results. Thank you for your understanding.
