How to add a device to the Google Home?
The Xiaomi smartphones support connecting devices to the Google Home APP, which can control smart lights, thermostats, and cameras, set alarms, timers, and reminders, achieve the smart linkage at home and act as an intercom system between rooms.
To add a device to the Google Home APP, please refer to the following steps:
1. Go to the Google Home APP;
2. Tap [Devices];
3. Tap [+ Add] at the right bottom of the screen;
4. Select [Matter-enabled devices] and you can add devices with the Matter logo;
5. Select [Google Nest or partner device] and you can add Nest devices, Chromecast, Google Assistant-enabled devices, or partner devices labeled “Seamless Setup with the Google Home APP”;
6. Select [Works with Google Home] and you can link existing devices or services labeled “Works With Google Home”.
