Why my phone cannot link to the Chromebook?
The Xiaomi smartphones support connecting to Chromebook, which can sync chat notifications, share files, send and receive text messages on your Chromebook, connect your Chromebook to your phone network and unlock your Chromebook with your phone.
If your phone can’t be connected to your Chromebook, or you don’t find the option to connect your phone, please refer to the following details:
1. Check whether the operating system and Google Play Services are in the latest version;
2. Sign in to the same Google Account on your phone and on your Chromebook;
3. If there are multiple entries for your phone, select the first one. If the phone doesn’t connect after a few minutes, forget the phone and try again with another selection.
Note:
If your Chromebook is for work or school, you need to contact your administrator to connect your phone to your Chromebook.
