TTY (Text Telephone) mode is a feature that allows hearing or speech-impaired individuals to communicate over phone calls using a TTY device. It enables text-based communication by converting spoken words into text and vice versa.
To use the TTY mode, please refer to the following steps:
1. Go to the [Phone] APP on your device;
2. Tap the three dots in the upper right corner and go to [Settings];
3. Tap [Accessibility];
4. Tap [TTY mode] and choose as you prefer.
Note:
Types of TTY mode:
TTY Off: Disables TTY functionality;
TTY Full: Both parties use TTY for text-only communication;
TTY HCO (Hearing Carry-Over): You listen to the other party but respond by typing;
TTY VCO (Voice Carry-Over): You speak to the other party but receive responses in text.
