How to set up who can find my device using Quick Share?
Quick Share is a feature used to share files between devices quickly. For devices that support Google services, your contacts can share with you when they’re nearby. Quick Share provides a broader cross device sharing experience.
To set up who can find the device using Quick Share, please refer to the following methods:
Method 1:
1. Go to the [Settings] APP on your device;
2. Slide down the screen to tap [Google];
3. Tap [All services];
4. Slide down the screen and go to [Quick Share];
5. Tap [Who can share with you];
6. Turn on [Visible to nearby devices] and set up who can find your device.
Method 2:
1. Go to the [Settings] APP on your device;
2. Tap [More connectivity options];
3. Slide down the screen and go to [Quick Share];
4. Tap [Who can share with you];
5. Turn on [Visible to nearby devices] and set up who can find your device.
Note:
Quick Share uses Bluetooth scanning to find nearby devices.
