Why can the Xiaomi 11 Lite not be unlocked by fingerprint?

If your Xiaomi 11 Lite cannot be unlocked by fingerprint, please refer to the following details:
1. If the stored fingerprint data becomes corrupted due to a software update, the phone will fail to recognize fingerprints;
2. Please go to the Phone APP, input [*#*#6484#*#*] to go to [CIT], swipe down to find and tap [Fingerprint sensor check] to check whether the fingerprint sensor is malfunctioned;
3. If the fingerprint sensor is completely unresponsive, it will be a hardware defect. Please confirm whether the phone is dropped or exposed to water, which will make the fingerprint sensor malfunctioning;
4. Please keep your finger clean and dry. Moisture, dirt, or oil can interfere with the fingerprint recognition. Besides, cuts, peeling skin, or calluses can make your fingerprint unreadable;
5. When using a scrapped SIM card, a security protection mechanism will be triggered. This mechanism does not allow the use of biometrics such as fingerprint and face data. Please remove the abnormal SIM card and try again;
6. If the above methods cannot solve the problem, please apply for the after-sales inspection.
