Why can't the third-party USB drives or headphones be recognized on the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G when using OTG?
The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G supports OTG (On-The-Go) functionality, allowing you to connect external devices such as USB drives, keyboards, or mice directly to your phone.
To enhance compatibility with external devices, the HyperOS has a dedicated OTG device recognition switch.
To turn on the OTG switch, please refer to the following steps:
1. Go to the [Settings] APP on your phone;
2. Select [Additional settings];
3. Tap [OTG], and turn on the [OTG] switch before connecting the device you wish to use.
Note:
Turn on OTG to connect your device directly to other devices using USB. This feature will automatically turn off after 10 minutes of inactivity.
