The normal operating altitude range of the rice cooker is 0-2000 meters. The cooking program of this rice cooker cannot meet the altitude beyond the range.
The Xiaomi Multifunctional IH Rice Cooker cannot be used in high-altitude areas for the following reasons:
1. At higher altitudes, the atmospheric pressure is lower than at sea level. This means that water boils at a lower temperature than it does at sea level;
2. Since water boils at a lower temperature at high altitudes, it will not be hot enough to cook the rice properly. Rice needs to absorb water and reach a certain temperature to cook thoroughly.
