Does the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro support proximity discovery and pairing?
The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro supports proximity discovery and pairing. Only the MIUI system will pop up a window for device discovery. When a new band that hasn't been paired is brought close to the phone, the phone will display a pop-up with the device model, Bluetooth address and the device image.
To achieve this function, the following conditions need to be met:
1. On the phone, network, Bluetooth and Pair compatible devices need to be turned on for band searching to begin. The Pair compatible devices activation path is [Settings] >> [Bluetooth] >> [Additional settings] >> [Pair compatible devices];
2. The band should be in an unpaired state;
3. Distance between the band and phone is recommended to be within 1 meter.
