If you see a prompt in the Mi Fitness APP that the band is already bound when searching for the device, it can be because the APP has detected others band rather than your own. During a successful binding, when the APP finds an uninitialized band, the band will vibrate and display a message “Accept the banding request?”
To resolve this issue, please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot:
1. If you are using the band for the first time, please check whether it is in pairing mode. In pairing mode, the band screen will display “Download the mobile app and bind the xiaomi band”;
2. During the binding process, check if the band vibrates and displays the message “Accept the banding request?” If no such prompt appears on your band, it is not your device that is being connected. Please check if other bands are in the area;
3. Once the band vibrates and displays the binding prompt, tap [√] to confirm the binding. After a successful binding, the band will display the band display home page.
