Why is there sometimes a sound of wind blowing the microphone of the Redmi Buds 6?

The Redmi Buds 6 features a built-in wind noise cancellation algorithm that activates when the system detects significant wind interference.
For your reference, heres a detailed explanation of how the wind noise cancellation works:
1. To minimize the effect of wind noise, the earbuds enter a wind noise mode for about 3 seconds when a strong wind is detected. During this time, the wind sound is reduced, however, this will also slightly reduce overall noise cancellation effectiveness. This happens because the ANC system adjusts the microphone's algorithm to better handle wind noise;
2. To prevent the earbuds from unnecessarily entering wind noise mode due to brief gusts or light airflow (like from an air conditioner), the algorithm includes a logical limitation that considers both the continuity and intensity of the wind. This helps avoid interfering with the ANC experience in non-windy environments. Once activated, the system will take about 18 seconds to exit wind noise mode, during which ANC performance will be slightly reduced;
3. While the ANC system effectively reduces background noise, strong winds can have a more noticeable impact on the overall listening experience. We are continuously working on optimizing the wind noise cancellation feature based on the feedback to improve performance in windy conditions.
Note:
The current wind noise cancellation feature is primarily designed for outdoor use, such as when cycling in continuous strong winds or driving with the windows open.
