If the Xiaomi Smart Pet Fountain 2 does not work, please follow these steps to troubleshoot:
1. Check if the power cord is securely plugged in and undamaged;
2. Check if the power cord interface at the bottom is loose;
3. Ensure the drinking tray is installed properly, check for poor contact with the power contact spring;
4. Inspect the conductive column and spring under the drinking tray for oxidation or blockage by foreign objects. Clean any discolored spots completely with sandpaper or a blade;
5. Check if the water pump outlet and hose outlet are loose or disconnected;
6. Ensure the pre-filter is fully saturated, clean the internal rotor of the water pump, then install it. Lift the pump above the water surface for 5 seconds before reinstalling. If still ineffective, you can inject water vertically into the outlet hole of the top cover.
Note:
After unboxing, soak the filter in clean water for 5 minutes or rinse it for 2 minutes. Not soaking will cause a temporary lack of water flow.
