How to maintain and care for the Xiaomi Smart Pet Fountain 2?
To maintain and care for the Xiaomi Smart Pet Fountain 2, please refer to the following steps:
1. Before cleaning, press and hold the power button for two seconds to turn off the pet fountain. If the power port is connected to the power cord, unplug the power cord and securely cover the power port with the waterproof rubber plug;
2. Remove the drinking tray and rotate the water pipe to remove it from the bottom of the drinking tray and the water pump;
3. Remove the filter holder and the filter, and take the pre-filter from the water pump;
4. Clean all the parts thoroughly. The main unit and the drinking tray can be rinsed with water, but the main unit should not be submerged in water;
5. Clean the interior and exterior of the water tank and wipe dry its exterior;
6. After cleaning, insert the ends of the water pipe into the ports of the drinking tray and the water pump, and make sure they are securely connected. Then proceed to install other parts in sequence.
Note:
After unboxing, soak the filter in clean water for 5 minutes or rinse it for 2 minutes. Not soaking will cause a temporary lack of water flow.
It is recommended to clean all parts and change the water thoroughly every week, replace the filter and the water pipe every month, and replace the water pipe every 2 months.
