To ensure hygiene, besides cleaning the inner pot, you should also clean the inner sealing ring of the lid, the anti-blocking cover, the steam release valve float, and any dirt or water around the inner pot's rim and support ring. Be sure to clean the rice spoon and soup ladle after use as well.
