After turning on the Dual apps, a new copy can be generated based on the current APP. Both can run at the same time without affecting each other. After uninstalling the predominant APP, the Dual apps will be deleted at the same time, and a prompt will be displayed when uninstalling.
The steps for opening the Dual apps are listed below:
1. Go to [Settings];
2. Tap [Apps];
3. Tap [Dual apps];
4. Select the APP that you want to copy.
After opening the Dual apps, an independent copy of the APP data will be generated. The space occupied by the Dual apps depends on the size of the APP data. The original APP data and the Dual apps data are independent of each other. Deleting the Dual apps will not affect the original APP. Deleting the original APP will uninstall the associated APPs and APP data together.
The ways to turn off the Dual apps are listed below:
You can delete the APP generated after Dual apps directly on the desktop to turn off it, or enter the interface of Dual apps to turn off it. Turning off the Dual apps will also delete the APP data and cannot be backed up or restored.
The ways for distinguishing and notification sending of Dual apps are listed below:
After the Dual apps is turned on, an icon will be added to the generated copy, and this icon can be used to distinguish whether the notification is sent from the copy or the original APP, and two different accounts can be logged in in the two APPs. If you need to log in with a Xiaomi Account, the initial APP can directly log in to the Xiaomi Account logged in to the phone, and the associated APP can re-login to another Xiaomi Account.
If the Second space is enabled, you can turn on the Dual apps in the original system to generate 2 identical APPs. This switch is not available in the Second space yet, and Dual apps cannot be turned on, so a maximum of 3 identical APPs can exist including the original APP.
Note:
1. The Dual apps is a universal design that is applicable to most software and can meet different needs;
2. If some software strictly prohibits modifying the application or opening two applications at the same time in its terms, or you are concerned about the use of this feature, you can consult the software developer or decide on your own whether to use this feature;
3. The Dual apps cannot be operated through one-click device switching;
4. Some APPs require Google Service Framework support. When you operate these APPs in parallel, Google Service will be opened in parallel to ensure the best experience;
5. The Dual apps function is based on Google's Managed Profile.
