Why does the screen of the Redmi Pad Pro become yellowish after turning on the Reading mode?

For your reference, the screen becomes yellowish due to the following reasons:
1. The Reading mode is designed to reduce blue light emission from the screen. Blue light can cause eye strain, especially during prolonged use. To mitigate this, the screen shifts towards warmer tones, which are less harsh on the eyes. This results in a yellowish or amber tint;
2. The Reading mode adjusts the color temperature of the display to be warmer, which enhances readability and reduces eye fatigue. This warmer color temperature will appear yellower visually;
3. The yellowish tint is specifically intended to create a more comfortable reading experience, especially in low-light environments. It helps to minimize glare and make extended reading sessions more pleasant.
If the yellowish tint is distracting, you can adjust the Color temperature of the Classic or disable the Reading mode when it is not needed.
