What to do if your Mi TV F2 50 fails to power off

If your Mi TV F2 50 fails to power off, you can try the following methods to address this issue.
1. Check the Remote:
(1). Ensure that the remote control is functioning properly. Check the batteries in the remote control. If they are low or depleted, replace them with fresh ones.
(2). Point the remote directly at the TV and press the power button. Please make sure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV. Obstacles sometimes interfere with the remote control's signal, preventing the remote control from shutting down the TV.
(3). Please make sure that the buttons on the remote control are not stuck. If the power on/off button of the remote control is stuck, the TV cannot be powered off using the remote control.
(4). Please ensure that you are using the original remote control that came with the TV. Sometimes, third-party remotes may not work properly.
2. Check for App Issues:
Sometimes there may be compatibility issues. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the problematic app.
3. Unplug Additional Devices:
If there are other devices connected to the TV, such as external hard drives or USB devices, unplug them and attempt to power off the TV.
4. Restart the TV:
Perform a simple restart by pressing the button on the bottom of the TV and pressing it to select [Power off]. After the TV powering off, press it again.
5. Check for Updates:
Ensure that your TV is running the latest firmware. Please check for updates as follows: Navigate to the [Settings] icon >> select [Device and Software] >> [About] >> [Check for Updates].
6. Factory Reset:
If the issue persists, you may consider performing a factory reset. Navigate to [Settings] >> [Device and Software] >> [Reset to Factory Defaults] >> [Reset].  
Note:
This operation will erase all data on the TV, so back up important information if possible.
