What should i do if the option of fingerprint missing?

1. Please perform the hardware detection (CIT mode) by inputting *#*#6484#*#* at the dialling interface to do the “Fingerprint sensor check” and “Fingerprint input test”.

2. If the hardware detection result pass, this could be software issue. Please check and update or re-install the latest MIUI version.

Settings>>About phone>>MIUI version>>3 dots top of the right corner>>Download latest package

3. If the issue still persists after update or re-install the latest MIUI version. Please backup data and sign out your Mi account then perform factory reset and try again.

Note: If the hardware detection is unable to detect fingerprints, it might be hardware issue. Please contact the after-sales team for assistance.
