The rear main camera module of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has undergone a significant upgrade, with the lens adopting an 8P high-spec design. The maximum aperture has been upgraded from F1.9 in the previous generation to F1.63, and the variable aperture has also been upgraded from two stops switching in the previous generation to continuous variable aperture. These optical and mechanical-electronic component upgrades will lead to an increase in module weight. Therefore, there can be slightly louder sounds during shaking compared to the previous generation.
However, this shaking sound is a natural physical characteristic of high-end lenses adopting OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) anti-shake structure. Since the OIS structure requires a reserved physical displacement, loud sounds can occur during forceful shaking due to module displacement. This is a normal phenomenon.
