Why does the camera lens of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra fog up in some scenarios?
There is no vacuum inside the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and the air cannot be completely isolated. In some scenarios, when the external temperature of the phone drops sharply or the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the phone is large, it can cause condensation of water vapor inside the phone, thus causing the fogging on the lenses is similar to the fogging on spectacle lenses when entering from a cold outdoors to a warm indoors in winter. It is a normal physical phenomenon, so please don’t worry too much.
After placing it in a stable environment for some time, the fog will disappear naturally. You can also remove the SIM card slot from the phone and place it in a closed dry environment, such as a sealed bag with desiccant. If you need to use the camera function urgently, you can use your fingers or palms to touch the lens to restore the temperature to make the fog dissipate quickly.
