Why does the POCO F6 Pro overheat when recording videos or taking photos for a long time?

The POCO F6 Pro is equipped with industry-leading camera specifications, delivering excellent photo effects. However, due to these advanced specifications, the device consumes relatively high power during operation, causing the temperature to rise quickly above body temperature. This is a normal phenomenon. Before leaving the factory, the POCO F6 Pro undergoes rigorous inspection to ensure it is safe for use.
After intensive activities such as charging, playing games, or taking photos and videos for extended periods, the phone's temperature will naturally be higher. Even if all APPs are closed, the surface temperature cannot immediately drop to a lower level. It requires some time to cool down. Consequently, during light-load activities like browsing web pages or watching videos, you can still feel the phone is warm. This residual heat is not caused by the light-load scenario but rather by the previous intensive use. To ensure a better experience, it is recommended to let the phone cool to ambient temperature.
When using the phone for the first time, background processes such as APP updates, system updates, and background compilation occur automatically in standby mode. These processes can also cause the phone to heat up initially.
