Why does the Xiaomi Smart Evaporative Humidifier not alarm or enter automatic drying when it is short of water?
To solve this issue, please scan the QR code on the water tank to view the video tutorial on disassembling and cleaning the water pump, check whether there is any foreign matter attached to the water level probe, clean it with a clean soft cloth, and it is recommended to use citric acid to clean the water pipeline.
You can refer to the steps below to clean the water pipeline:
1. Follow the instructions for the citric acid you purchased to dissolve it in water, and then add the citric acid solution into the water tank;
2. Press and hold the Pause button for 7 seconds to enter the cleaning mode. After 30 minutes, the humidifier will make a beep when the cleaning is completed;
3. Pour the citric acid solution out of the water tank. Then clean the tank and the filter with clean water.
