1. It can be caused by the long sealing time during the storage and transportation of the new humidifier. It is recommended that you turn on the humidifier normally, add water and run it in the High-power mode for a while before use. If there is still odor after 5 minutes, please contact customer service for processing;
2. It can be caused by insects entering the water tank or the water has been used for too long. You can check and clean the water tank and humidifier body, refill with clean water, and check whether the odor is emitted by the filter element. During use, it is recommended to dry the filter element every time you stop using it;
3. Wash the filter element with clean water for more than 2 times. Except for the citric acid that is randomly provided or purchased by yourself, do not use chemical agents to clean the filter element (such as hot water, fragrance, essential oil, or disinfectant);
4. If the filter element turns yellow or black and is accompanied by an odor that cannot be removed, it is necessary to replace the filter element and clean the water tank.
