How to enable/disable the light effects and switch between them on the Xiaomi Desktop Speaker?
The Xiaomi Desktop Speaker features 16 RGB LEDs in a row at the bottom to form a captivating color-changing light ribbon, creating an enchanting ambiance. You can switch between 5 light effects with the option to customize your desktop and set the mood in the room to fit your preference.
To enable/disable the light effects, press and hold the Lighting Button for 2 seconds. Press the Lighting Button to cycle through the light effects. A prompt sound will indicate the current light effect.
For your reference, the five RGB light effects are illustrated below:
1. In the Party mode (default on startup), DSP intelligently analyses the music to make the light ribbon pulse dynamically and change in real-time with the music. Create mesmerizing displays of color for a stunning audiovisual experience just for you;
2. The Rainbow mode cycles through a spectrum of colors, creating a smooth and continuous transition similar to the colors of a rainbow. It offers a vibrant and dynamic visual display that adds excitement and liveliness to the environment;
3. Inspired by the natural phenomenon, the Aurora mode mimics the shifting and ethereal colors of the Northern Lights. It involves gentle transitions between soft, pastel hues like greens, blues, and purples, creating a calming and mesmerizing ambiance;
4. The Fireplace mode simulates the warm and flickering glow of a real fire. It features variations of orange, yellow, and red hues, with subtle flickering or pulsating to mimic the gentle movement of flames. This effect is ideal for creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere;
5. The Color breath mode includes several single-color breathing effects, where the light gently fades in and out in a rhythmic pattern. Each color (white, red, blue, purple, green) provides a distinct ambiance.
Note:
Only the light effects that display volume will change with volume adjustments. The brightness of the light effects cannot be adjusted.
