What is the earphone recording feature on the Xiaomi Buds 5?
The earphone recording feature allows each earphone to record up to 90 minutes. The recordings use Opus encoding and are saved with the .ogg file extension. The recorded files are stored within the earphones and need to be exported using the Xiaomi Earbuds APP.
The detailed instructions for use are as follows:
1. By default, triple-clicking is used to start/stop recording. To change this setting, go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone or the gesture settings in the Xiaomi Earbuds APP;
2. Press either earphone three times continuously to start recording. The earphones will automatically recognize and adjust to the recording scenario;
Note:
Each earphone records independently. The earphone you press will be the one that starts recording.
3. To stop recording, press the earphone that is currently recording three times continuously. You can choose to save the recording to your phone through the APP's recording settings;

Each earphone can record up to 90 minutes per session. If you reach this limit, manually start recording on the other earphone or upload the recorded content to your phone.
4. Once the recording is complete, you can choose the recording you wish to share, delete, or convert to text;
5. After converting to text, tap the recording to view and edit the text.
