Xiaomi Smart Band 8 supports 159 sports modes, and the sports list displays 8 common sports and a more sports entrance by default. The 8 common sports are outdoor running, walking, freestyle, hiking, outdoor cycling, treadmill, jump rope, and pool swimming. A total of 15 professional sports and 144 extended sports such as rowing, cross training, and elliptical machines are supported.
To use sports modes, please refer to the following steps, taking the outdoor running as an example:
1. After the band is turned on, tap the [Outdoor running] icon on the band, then the band will prompt positioning. Tap [√] to confirm. If positioning fails, the exercise trajectory cannot be recorded;
2. Tap [GO] will prompt a countdown, and data will be recorded after the three-second countdown;
3. Slide the band to the right on the exercise interface to pause or end the exercise. Tap the pause icon above to pause the exercise; 4. Press and hold the end icon to end the exercise;
5. Swipe to the left to control the music playback on the mobile phone during exercise;
6. After the exercise is over, you can immediately view the overview data of the exercise results on the band. You can also view the historical exercise records on the band;
7. Additionally, you can view all the historical exercise data in the exercise records on the Mi Fitness APP’s home interface after connecting to the APP to synchronize the exercise data. Select a piece of exercise data to view detailed exercise data, such as the heart rate chart during exercise. Indoor exercise can support exercise data projection.
Note:
It features an automatic adjustment of the sports modes in order according to the number of times you use them. The more frequently used ones will be placed at the front.
