To resolve these issues, please refer to the following steps:
1. Please use special SD cards for driving recorders or cameras produced by regular manufacturers;
2. Please confirm that an SD card that meets the requirements has been installed in the camera. Cameras without an SD card cannot store videos and historical videos cannot be reviewed;
3. If the videos on the SD card have sound when viewed on the mobile phone, while silent when viewed on the computer, it is due to the incompatibility of the video playback software on the computer. You can try to change the computer player such as the VLC player;
4. If the SD card records videos unsuccessfully or the SD card cannot automatically delete files in a loop, you can format the SD card in the storage settings of the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP;
5. If the SD card cannot be formatted in the APP, you can format it on the computer through a card reader. After formatting is completed, power off the camera and reinstall the SD card;
6. If the camera cannot recognize the SD card, you can first restart the camera and re-install the SD card. If the issue persists, please check the firmware updated version and clear the cache in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP. If it still cannot work, replace the SD card.
Note:
1. After formatting is completed, the files in the SD card will be deleted;
2. SD cards have a service life. If a card is used for a long time, it will be erased and written multiple times and cannot be used again. Please replace the SD card with a different brand.
