How does the Xiaomi Body Composition Scale S400 access the gateway?
After the Xiaomi Body Composition Scale S400 is successfully added to the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP, it will automatically connect to the gateway device under the Xiaomi Account. After the scale is connected to the gateway, the measurement data will be uploaded to the server through the gateway though the APP is not opened. Then you can view the data in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP.

1. You can query detailed information in the [Mi Home/Xiaomi Home] APP >> [Profile] >> [Hubs & gateways];
2. Ensure the gateway device is bound to the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP and upgraded to the latest firmware version;
3. Data uploading through the gateway will delay by 1-10 minutes, depending on the network environment.
