Why does the music stop or the voice is turned on when wearing or taking off the Xiaomi Buds 5?
The earbuds detect wearing through the in-ear detection sensor.
If you wear the earbuds too loosely, the earbuds do not sense that they are being worn. So the music automatically pauses. It is recommended to wear the earbuds properly and start the music again.
If you cover the sensor when holding the earbuds, it will be mistakenly recognized as wearing the earbuds. If you do not need the In-ear detection function, you can turn off this function in the Xiaomi Earbuds APP >> [Additional settings].
Note:
When holding the earbuds with your hand, do not cover the sensor position as shown in the picture below (the red arrow position).
