How to create a map with the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S20?

To create a map of the robot vacuum, here are the methods for your reference:
  1. When using the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S20 for the first time, follow the Xiaomi Home App prompts to choose quick mapping or global cleaning. After the cleaning is completed, the Xiaomi Home App will automatically save the map.
  2. When using the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S20 in a new environment (such as a different floor), create a new map in the Xiaomi Home App >> [Settings] >> [Map List] >> [Create Map]. When creating new maps on different floors, it is recommended to place the charging dock on the corresponding floors to avoid map creation failure due to insufficient power and the inability to return to charge during the map creation process. Maps in different environments can be distinguished by different names.
Note:
  1. The main unit is triggered from the Charging Dock. Please do not change the position of the Charging Dock while building the map.
  2. The new map will be saved after the main unit automatically returns to the Charging Dock. Please do not interrupt or move the main unit during map building.
  3. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S20 supports only 5 maps.
  4. The presence of highly reflective objects in the environment, such as mirrors, windows, and shiny metal, will affect the mapping effect.
