To resolve the sound issue, here are some steps to troubleshoot:
1. Check if the earbuds’ sound outlets are blocked or have foreign objects. If so, clean them promptly;
2. Adjust the volume by swiping up the touch control area of the earbuds. You also can navigate to the Xiaomi Earbuds APP >> [Settings] >> [Gestures] to set double tap to volume up, then tap the earbuds to adjust the volume;
3. In your phone settings, enable absolute volume, then adjust the volume using the phone’s volume buttons;
4. Ensure that both your phone and earbuds have sufficient battery power. Charge them fully and check again;
5. Reset the earbuds and pair them again;
6. Test the earbuds with another phone. If the issue persists, contact the local after-sales service center for further inspection.
Note:
It’s normal for the sound to become quieter in noisy environments, such as in strong wind or on the subway.
