Does the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 support stress detection?
The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 supports stress detection. You can manually measure a single stress or enable all-day monitoring. Manual measurement method: The current stress value can be measured on the stress detail page of theband. If the measurement is successful, the current stress value will be displayed. If the measurement fails, the reason for the failure and prompt will be displayed. To ensure successful measurement, please wear the band correctly and keep it stationary during the measurement. After enabling all-day monitoring, When a continuous quiet state is detected, the band will automatically measure the stress value. You can view the stress for the day by clicking on the [Stress] APP. You can enable [All-day pressure monitoring] by the following paths: On the APP: open the [Mi Fitness] APP >> [Device] >> [Stress]; On the band: open the [Stress] APP >> [Settings] >> [All-day pressure monitoring]; Note: The pressure here specifically refers to mental stress, not including physical stress caused by high-intensity exercise. The principle of stress monitoring is to use heart rate variability to evaluate the current intensity of stress. The current heart rate variability data is compared with the individual's heart rate variability during sleep and relaxation, and combined with individual limb activity tracking to assist in judgment. When in low-intensity limb activity, if heart rate variability significantly weakens, it means that the individual is currently experiencing higher levels of mental stress. Due to factors such as wearing status, skin characteristics, and environment, the accuracy of measurements may be affected, and even results may not be outputted. This product is not a medical device, and the results are for reference only and not used as a basis for diagnosis and treatment. Frequent vigorous exercise or high-intensity activities can have a certain impact on the accuracy of stress data assessment.
