Please download and open the Mi Fitness APP, log into your Xiaomi Account and turn on the related APP permissions according to the prompts.
Android pairing methods
Method 1:
1. Open the [Mi Fitness] APP and tap the [+] icon at the upper right corner;
2. Tap [Add devices];
3. Wait for the search and place the band next to the phone;
4. Select the device whose Bluetooth address is the same as your band;
5. After connecting your band to the smartphone, there will be a check on the band;
6. Tap the [√] icon on the band.
Method 2:
1. Open the [Mi Fitness] APP and tap the [+] icon at the upper right corner;
2. Tap [Add devices];
3. Tap [Add model];
4. Select [Xiaomi Smart Band 8] and the phone will search for the device nearby and connect to the band;
5. After connecting your band to the smartphone, there will be a check on the band;
6. Tap the [√] icon on the band.
Method 3:
1. Open the [Mi Fitness] APP and tap the [+] icon at the upper right corner;
2. Select [Scanner] and scan the QR code on the band to connect.
Method 4:
When an unpaired new band approaches the phone (only supported by some MIUI models), the MIUI system will pop up a window to discover the device. The phone will pop up a box indicating the device model, the last four digits of the Bluetooth address, and the device image. You can directly tap [Connect to this device].
Android unpairing methods
Method 1:
1. Open the [Mi Fitness] APP and go to [Device];
2. Tap [Manage your devices];
3. Press and hold on the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 and tap [Unpair];
4. After unpairing, the band will reset to the factory settings.
Method 2:
1. Open the [Mi Fitness] APP and go to [Device];
2. Swipe down and select [Unpair] when the band has been connected to the Mi Fitness APP.
Note:
If you cannot find the band during the process of pairing, or if you are unable to connect the band during use, please try sliding up and down on the pending binding page, select [Reset] on the system operating interface, and then connect the band to the Mi Fitness APP again.
iOS pairing methods
Method 1:

1. Open the [Mi Fitness] APP and tap the [+] icon at the upper right corner;
2. Select [Scanner] and scan the QR code on the band to connect.
iOS unpairing methods
Method 1:
1. Open the [Mi Fitness] APP and go to [Device];
2. Tap [Manage your devices];
3. Find the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 and slide left and tap [Unpair];
4. After unpairing, the band will reset to the factory settings.
Method 2:
1. Open the [Mi Fitness] APP and go to [Device];
2. Swipe down and select [Unpair] when the band has been connected to the Mi Fitness APP.
Note:
After unpairing the device in the Mi Fitness APP, you need to select the device in the Bluetooth interface and tap "Ignore this device" before repairing the device the next time. Otherwise, the current device cannot be paired.
