Following the instructions will prevent rice soup from spouting. It's recommended to add water according to the rice-to-water ratio in the instructions.
If you notice rice soup after cooking congee, please consider the following steps:
1. Ensure that you have used the correct cooking mode for the congee. The quick cooking and precision cooking modes are specifically designed for cooking rice and do not produce optimal results for congee. It is recommended to use the congee function for preparing congee to ensure proper cooking consistency;
2. Check if you have added too much water, exceeding the recommended water level line indicated on the inner pot. Adding excessive water can result in a soupier consistency rather than the desired congee texture. It's advised not to exceed half a scale, for instance, for 2 cups of rice, add water up to a maximum of 2.5 scales.
If you have followed these guidelines correctly and still encounter issues with the consistency of your congee, it indicates a problem with the temperature sensor. In such cases, we advise contacting your local after-sales service center for further inspection and assistance.
